FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASEにアップグレード の変更点

• 追加された行はこの色です。
• 削除された行はこの色です。
• FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASEにアップグレード へ行く。
• FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASEにアップグレード の差分を削除

FreeBSD 6.3 が出ているようなので、UPすることにした。

まずは、ソースファイルの調達。~
/root/CVSUP/6_3/cvsup-releng_6_3.sh~
/root/CVSUP/6_3/releng_6_3-supfile~
などを用意する。とは言っても、6_2を6_3へ文字列置換するだけ・・・＾＾

実際にビルドを行う前に、
 # mergemaster -p
を行って、ビルドに必要な環境が整っているか確認。
*必要なファイルのバックアップ等 [#xc08f000]
この間に、/etcの内容などは、万が一に備えてバックアップしておいた方が安全だと思う。
 # cd /var/tmp
 # touch backup-etc.tar.gz
 # chmod 600 backup-etc.tar.gz
 # tar zcf ./backup-etc.tar.gz /etc
カーネルのコンフィギュレーション ファイルの変更点も何かと参考になる。

6.2Rと6.3R間の/sys/i386/conf/GENERICの変更点
*ビルド [#p32221c1]
同期したソースは、通常、/usr/srcのディレクトリ以下に置かれる。~
念のために
 # chflags -R noschg /usr/obj/usr
 # rm -rf /usr/obj/usr
しておく。
 # cd /usr/src
 # time make -j16 buildworld    # ベースシステムをビルド　0934－0949　15分
 # time make -j16 buildkernel KERNCONF=TFC
 # time make installkernel  KERNCONF=TFC
を実行。
 #reboot
